From the very beginning…Anna always knew.. she wanted their photos taken in the snow… And from the moment I found out that Diego proposed on the top of a mountain in Waterton I knew… We were going to shoot these in the mountains! I have to say, it was everything I had hoped! Driving out to Waterton and spending the day with these lovebirds was so much fun! I’m so glad we went, it was worth every icy fingertip. 🙂
This beauty is my good friend Anna. We had so much fun last summer getting her all dressed up and going out on this beautiful day to get some gorgeous bridal photos of her.
There is something about the warm sunlight wrapping around her like a blanket, and the light in her eyes, that takes you back to the hazy days of summer again.
My absolute favourite time to shoot is during the evening golden hour, the warm and magical light is like no other. The long warm rays of low sunlight, kissing your cheek with a golden glow…
If you’re planning your wedding, keep a little pocket of time open the hour before sunset for your photographer to make something spectacular! I know I would thank you!

I feel really lucky to have met this amazing couple. Michelle has such a kind heart and a gentleness about her and Albert is the perfect match for her. He treats her like she’s the only thing that matters to him, and the look on his face when she walked down the aisle in her beautiful Snow White Alfred Angelo gown, was what every girl dreams to see on her wedding day.
We took the photos in Fort Macleod and I loved getting to explore a place I had never shot in before. The park is beautiful! I especially loved the teal bridge going over the river. This place, and of course the happy couple…are just beautiful!

Have you ever seen someone defy everything that is dark and lifeless like this ladies style! I mean, not everyone can pull off a blazer like this and boy did she ever bring these photos to life! Rich color, interest, joy… just like this couple!
